Transforming Food Systems
The Ag & Food Lab operates three interconnected programs that support farmers, entrepreneurs, and families, building a sustainable local food ecosystem: The Farm, The Hub and The Market.
The Farm
The Farm is our 35-acre site in Bennett, Colorado — a place where seeds of opportunity take root and grow. Here, beginning and historically marginalized farmers gain equitable access to land, water, tools, and hands-on experience. By combining regenerative farming practices with business development support, The Farm helps growers build thriving enterprises that nourish their communities while healing the soil.
Every season, farmers here don’t just grow crops — they grow resilience, equity, and hope for a more sustainable food system.

The hub
The Hub is our 15,000-square-foot warehouse in Denver: a space designed to keep local food moving. Here, farmers and food entrepreneurs access cold and dry storage, light processing equipment, and distribution support. By sharing infrastructure that small producers often can’t afford alone, The Hub helps businesses grow, reduces waste, and ensures fresh, local food reaches more Colorado families.

The Market
The Market connects fresh, local food directly to the people who need it most. Through community distribution sites and farm stands, families across the Metro Denver area — including those using SNAP — can access nutritious, affordable produce.
By bridging farmers and neighbors, The Market ensures that local harvests nourish everyone.
